This add-in does not work well with the old (C++/Windows only) BA Excel add-in.If you are not able to install it on your Excel, try to reinstall Excel - reach out to ITG if you need help. Installing the add-in requires a version of Excel that is activated. If your version is older than the one on this website, you can download the add-in file from here and follow the installation instructions to update to the latest version. You can also go to "CBS BA Add-in" -> "Version Info". To check the installed version, type Ctrl+Shift+V when Excel is open. Always make sure to keep the add-in updated to the latest version. When you select the function from the search results, you will receive help on the function and its arguments. To get proper guidance for add-in functions, go to Formulas -> Insert functions and type the name of the function in the search box of the Formula Builder dialog that opens. This, however, does not work well with add-in functions in Excel for Mac. Normally, you can get guidance for Excel functions by typing the function in a cell and clicking on the formula button (or typing Shift+F3).To fix this, open the add-in available dialog by following the instructions for Windows/Mac above and enable the Solver add-in.
